Our week-long day camps are filled with loads of opportunities for students to engage creatively in various ways to grow and learn!

July 3-7 & July 17 - 21
For students from 4th grade to 8th grade
Classes will be capped at 8 students to provide an ideal environment for highly motivated youngsters to develop a range of creative communication skills.
Our team has decades of collective experience educating students & working experience in our fields of expertise.
Our camps will focus on these subjects & areas of interest:

WRITING
Annie Douglass Lima – Published Author
Students will explore their creativity by writing a short children’s book. They will create a plot, develop characters, brainstorm ideas, draft, and then revise and edit their stories. At the end, they will take home a printed final copy.
MUSIC
Hanna Tzou Chang – Teacher
Students will explore writing in the form of lyrics, as well as the basics of creating a melody and producing a song. They will have a musical product to show at the end of their week!
SPEAKING
Sigrid Skaggs – Educator
Students will unlock their potential for effective communication with this fun and engaging speaking class! They will build confidence and improve public speaking skills through interactive activities and games with a focus on verbal narration.
ART
Thai Martin – Artist • Designer • Teacher
Students will use art fundamentals and techniques to illustrate a short children’s book. They will design characters, create scenes, and explore design elements and principles. In the end, they will illustrate stories they create in their writing class.
Week 2 – July 17 - 21
GEOGRAPHY & CULTURE
Annie Douglass Lima – Published Author
Students will explore the world by learning about a different country each day through reading, writing, and fun activities. They will develop their appreciation for geography and culture through this international adventure!
CULINARY ARTS
Val Jones – Teacher
Learning to cook and bake is a basic life skill that can be intimidating. Anyone can do it, but it's more fun and easier if you have someone experienced to teach you! Students will be learning baking and cooking fundamentals, making tasty dishes that they get to enjoy, and playing games during downtime!
SCIENCE & NATURE
Sigrid Skaggs – Educator
Students will deepen their understanding of the world around us through a hands-on study of nature and science.
ART
Thai Martin – Artist • Designer • Teacher
Students will learn how to use observational skills and drawing techniques to capture the world around them. They will sketch people, nature, animals, buildings, and items.
